Cosmopolite was established in 1992 and is the leading stage/venue for jazz and world music in Norway. The premises contain a big hall and a gallery, and can fill 825 people.
Throughout the year's artists such as Gerry Mulligan, Diana Krall, Stephane Grapelli, Chick Corea, Jack de Johnette, Joe Zawinul, Bo Diddeley, Maceo Parker, Ronnie Jordan, Jimmy Smith, Jimmy Cliff, The Wailers, Angelique Kidjo and Cheb Khaled have performed at the club. Our foremost trademark is to present quality music from all over the world.

Cosmopolite can hold open until 3.30am (service finishes 3am), but some of the events finishes earlier as from when the concerts etc. ends and after demand/wish from the performers/organisers.

TicketFast is the easiest way to buy tickets. By selecting TicketFast as your delivery method, your tickets will be e-mailed to you. You will receive them immediately and can print them out yourself at any time before the show.

Unless a show is sold out, we also sell tickets at the door on the evening of the show.

Metro: Nearest stop Jernbanetorget, Grønland or Stortoget.
Bus/tram: Nearest stop is Brugata.
Train: Nearest stop is Oslo Sentralstasjon

Age limit:
There is a 18 year age limit to enter all our arrangements unless other is stated.
On our jazz events under ages can enter with a guardian.
Remember to bring a valid Id (passport, driving licence and bank card with photo).
